Dear LOASS community,

Re: Chairman Club Statement June 2018
 
There have been a number of rumours circulating with the intention of causing unnecessary damage to the reputation of the club.  I am writing this statement to categorically reassure you all that the club is very healthy in every way! 
 
The LOASS FC committee have only recently received in writing confirmation that a very small number of long term serving coaches, Bob Carn, Gavin Prince and Ruel Gibson have decided they wish to pursue other avenues outside of LOASS FC.  I am very grateful for all their work and efforts to help the club develop and wish them all well in their future endeavours.
 
The LOASS FC committee is busy as ever planning for the new season with a number of new initiatives to ensure LOASS FC is a club that is always dedicated to the development of youth football for both boys and girls in every way it can.  New coaches are currently being recruited to enhance our coaching numbers and as a development club we are always happy to discuss ways in which we can help support members of the LOASS community pursue a coaching or referee training pathway.
 
I would also like to wish Beverly Yearwood the very best in her role as club secretary who is already looking at new ways to ensure the communication in the club is improved even further. On that note, I also want to wish good luck to all our LOASS FC teams competing in tournaments in the very near future.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me or members of the committee with any issues you wish to discuss.
