Futsal School gets Silva Service
Renato Silva, coach at Baku Futsal Club, was invited down to our Futsal School, at Roding Valley High School. Renato has played 11v11 and Futsal in his homeland, Brazil as well then later in Latvia and England, before becoming the first professional Futsal coach in the UK. In 2012 he was selected to be a coach at the Barcelona Camp in London. Session leader, Gavin Prince said, "The players seemed to really enjoy the session and fed off Renato's enthusiasm. I was able to pick up so many ideas which I will now use in my sessions. I am so grateful for Renato's time and wish to thank him and Bob Leeds from the AFA in brining Renato down."

Endorsements“As a little boy in Argentina, I played futsal on the streets and for my club. It was tremendous fun, and it really helped me become who I am today" Lionel Messi
“In futsal, you see whether a player is really talented. In normal football you don't necessarily identify talent as easily because it's so much more physical. But with futsal, you notice the small details in quality, class and tactical understanding." Xavi
“During my childhood in Portugal, all we played was futsal," he said. "The small playing area helped me improve my close control, and whenever I played futsal I felt free. If it wasn't for futsal, I wouldn't be the player I am today." Cristiano Ronaldo
